Oui, alors, que je vous explique : je sors d'un long long week-end : raison : fête nationale + festival de l'université (durée du festival = 4 jours).
The festival consists in showing off the university clubs and so, raise money to make them go on. So basically, outside : food (lots lots lots of food sold by different clubs...); inside : shows (concerts, dance...)
The festival is very important for the university, the place was crowded and even fireworks or famous idol concert are organized !
But what impressed me for my first day in a matsuri (=festival) was the repetitive attemps of the students to make them come to a place to buy something to eat !! And when it happens you're a foreigner, you can be sure they put lots of efforts in it... which means you're stopped every 2 meters by students wearing ads and you're stuck in some crazy conversations sometimes !! °-°'... funny, yes; tiring, yes as well ! ;)
One precision : sunny day, 25°, sunglasses mandatory, tree leaves changing colors... This comment about the weather is far away to be anecdotical... you'll understand later... as we did ! ;)
