This was at the end of May. I went with Ines and her host sister to see a Maiko's dance (Geisha apprentices) and to walk around Kyoto. It was a very nice and hot day...
We saw a tea ceremony and then the dance. Actually, the geisha were really old °-°'... and were wearing wigs... but the maiko were young and their hair style was with their real hair...
It was really nice to see. There were 2 or 3 plays, and within those they were dancing and singing. They were both playing the women and men roles...
Sorry, I have no pictures of that, it was not allowed...
